Enigma A8907

Enigma Serial No A8907 – 1938

I have been lucky enough to get my hands on an Enigma machine recently which sadly doesn’t see the light of day much nowadays due to a couple of reasons. Firstly there is no display case robust enough to display it safely and secondly, its big price tag. Its recent valuation has seen it moved to a secure location behind many steel doors and alarms.

No History

There is no history to be found with this particular example either, only rumour that it was given over by the Polish and that it may have been used at Bletchley Park but I doubt these claims. I have reached out to Bletchley to see if they can help further but to date I have received no reply.

In the meantime enjoy my images and a small HD video of this wonderful piece of WW2 history.

    1. Thanks for the comment and also your article is a great read. Went to Berlin a couple of years ago while taking some veterans back to retrace their steps (The Great Escape) Would love to go back and spend more time.

Heh, why not leave a comment?
