Split-Second-Story – The Great Escape

In January of 2013 I was fortunate enough to retrace the steps taken by World War 2 prisoners of War as they were force marched in the depths of Winter from Poland to Germany. 100’s of men lost their lives on an incredibly arduous journey.

I accompanied two veterans along with some military students along the way. The two veterans and their colleagues incidentally were immortalized in the famous film “The Great Escape”.
